1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FlowState (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FlowState is a mindful speed reading application that uses RSVP (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation) technology to help users read text at adjustable speeds. The App provides curated reading passages, the ability to import personal documents, session tracking, and related features.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features of FlowState may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy.

5. User Content

You may import personal documents into FlowState for reading purposes. You retain all rights to your content. We do not claim ownership over any documents you import. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you import into the App.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and curated content selections, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The curated passages included in FlowState are sourced from public domain works. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

FlowState is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FlowState and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
